A short biography.
I am a Professor at the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Dokuz Eylül University, in İzmir, Türkiye. My work sits at the intersection of signal processing, machine learning and instrumentation.
I teach undergraduate and graduate courses on signals & systems, digital signal processing, biomedical signal processing and pattern recognition. My recent research focuses on machine-learning methods for biomedical signals and condition monitoring of power equipment.
Alongside research and teaching, I build small software tools — demos, classroom utilities and companion apps for papers. This site collects all of that in one place, together with short NotebookLM videos that summarise topics for students.
I'm happy to discuss thesis projects, collaborations and reading-group invitations. The best way to reach me is by email.
