Bioamplifier Surge Protection Simulator

Discover how Surge Protection Devices (SPDs) like TVS diodes and Gas Discharge Tubes protect sensitive bioamplifiers (e.g., ECG monitors) from high-voltage spikes like defibrillator pulses.

SPD Protection
Enable surge clamping
How it works: The SPD monitors the incoming voltage. Normal biological signals (mV range) pass right through. If a massive surge occurs (e.g., thousands of Volts), the SPD becomes highly conductive, "clamping" the voltage to a safe level and diverting the dangerous excess current to ground, saving the amplifier.
